Ragz is a lovely old boy who came to us through the RSPCA as he had to be removed from his previous home. Ragz came into us with a skin condition  which had affected his ears, eyes, body and feet. He has since been treated for this and this condition has improved. Ragz still has dry eyes which need to be lubricated throughout the day via drops.

Ragz does have a bad heart and is on Vetmedin and Frusemide daily for his. He needs a home where he can be the only dog as he has to be kept  calm. This however is no easy task as Ragz doesn't understand that he has  a bad heart and he feels fine now that he is on his medication.

As stated Ragz is not neutered and this is due to him having this heart condition. It is not advisable for Ragz to under go anesthetic as it will put unnecessary strain on his heart and as this operation is not a life saving operation so we have not had this done. It is there for important that his next home is as an only dog and his owners keep him on a lead at all times when out in public.

Ragz is really looking for a place to relax and enjoy his human company, he will require someone at home most of the day to ensure his eyes are lubricated. Ragz is a chatterbox, and will talk to you and tell you that  he wants his dinner, in fact he often chats away in his sleep too.

Do you have a big enough heart to offer Ragz some love and care?. Do you have a space on your sofa where Ragz can cuddle up to you of an evening?.If you do please complete an application form and contact Louise Ferguson on 01895 835545 or Mrs Joan Kenway on 01256 861 227.
