This lovely girl is called Rosie and she so desperately needs a new home
to call her own. She has been with us at Bull Terrier Welfare for over a
year now and it seems she is being over looked time and time again. This
really is very sad as Rosie is such a sweet and loving girl who just needs
to be the only pet in her new home.

This beautiful girl has dry eye which is treated with viscous tears and
lacrilube and is there for very cost effective. She is slightly blind in
one eye due to the dry eye condition as it was probably not treated before
she came to us. She also has a heart murmur to which she does not need any
treatment. The vet has assured us that Rosie heart is fine and this is not
to be worried about at all for her potential new owner. We are happy for
the letter to be viewed by serious applicants. Please don't let this one
small thing put you off our lovely Rosie as she is able to go out on walks
and play just like any other Bull Terrier her age.

Rosie is not keen on other dogs but she doesn't look for trouble, she is
happy to ignore other dogs as long as they stay away from her.

This amazing girl came into our care as a stray from Wales and she had
obviously been used for breeding and then dumped. She spent quite a while
in our kennels getting over looked so we move her into a foster home. This
however was some time ago now and she has to live separated from the
resident dogs which means her foster mum has to divide her time between
Rosie and her own dogs.

Rosie really deserves one on one attention as she is such a dream of a
dog. As an only dog in the home she is wonderful, she is not destructive
at all, in fact she just loves laying around on the sofa snoozing the day
away. A nice short walk during the day or evening and a cuddle at night.
Given half a chance she would love to sleep on the bed with you.

She is such a character that makes you laugh and smile with her silly
ways. Rosie is a gardener and loves nothing more than laying in the mud
after digging, so please keep this in mind if you have a nice garden with
flowers and plants as I am not too sure if you will have any left if you
take on Rosie.

She likes to play ball and listens to where it bounces and then runs to
get it. She is fine when she is out at stores, she loves people to fuss
her and travels well in the car. She is good at the vets and doesn't mind
being checked over.

Please take a good look back over this girl, give her a second glance or
better still a second chance of happiness, she is now our longest
resident, don't let her spend the rest of her life in rescue.

Are you the one who is going to give Rosie the life that she has never
probably seen before, the stability of a permanent home to call her own,
somewhere she can have freedom to roam from room to room without
restrictions, if you are then please don't delay, complete an application
form and contact Louise Ferguson on 01276 477355, I am more then happy to
talk to anyone about Rosie as I have had the pleasure of her company over
the Christmas break.
