Ruby is fantastic with any person or child. She is great in the car and when on her own in the house for short periods of time. She is housetrained and always barks to go out if she needs to. Ruby requires a walk every day without fail as she is quite full of energy and you notice a more stressed dog if she hasn’t had a good run. Ruby enjoys sun bathing in the garden and is quite a relaxed dog in the house with no behavioural issues. Ruby was attacked by a dog and since then she has developed a dislike to unfamiliar dogs, so Ruby would need to be an only dog.
Ruby has skin problems and is allergic to grass, dust and wheat. She is on Tavegil twice a day long term and Atopica every other day. She also is on an immunisation therapy injection once a month. Ruby is also bathed with Malaseb shampoo as required. Her skin problems are seasonal obviously the summer being the worse time for her.

She had a lump removed from her bottom when she was a puppy plus a canine tooth removed as well.

Ruby also has a small vulva which will have to be kept clean once a day or she has constant vaginitus.
Ruby’s diet consists of, Natures menu & Nutro dried food.
Any treats are all natural cause of her wheat allergy. James wellbeloved biscuits and Burns fish skins

She also has 3 hypoallergenic beds and vet bed to sleep on.
If you feel you can offer Ruby a home, please contact Joan Kenway on 01256 861 227
